‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ pre-booking: James Cameron’s film to make ‘historic collection’? Here’s what experts predicted

‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ pre-booking: The sequel to James Cameron’s Avatar, the highest-grossing movie of all time, is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 16 all around the world. 13 years have passed since the release of Avatar, which set new attendance records in theatres. During its time in cinemas across the world, it made $2.7 billion. All eyes are now on The Way of Water, and industry insiders are eager to see if Cameron will be able to accurately reproduce history at the box office.

Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, who previously played Jake Sully and Neytiri, respectively, reprise their roles in Avatar: The Way of Water. They now have five kids, but the “sky people” who are after Jake are interfering with their joyful existence. Jake’s family seeks sanctuary with the Metkayina tribe as a result, but they must learn how to survive on the sea.

Industry experts says Avatar 2 will create history

With the debut of Avatar 2, movie exhibitor Akshaye Rathi is “looking at some historic collections.” “I am convinced it will become the biggest earning Hollywood picture this year.” James Cameron is a visionary beyond just a director, thus this will also be the highest-grossing Hollywood movie ever in this nation. No one else, in my opinion, creates immersive large screen spectacles like he does. Even the original Avatar, which debuted twenty years ago, transformed how technology is employed and combined with narrative to provide fantastic cinematic experiences. He estimated that the movie will make between Rs 35 and 40 crore on its first day worldwide.

The main setback for Avatar 2 will be that film would only be shown on about 3000 screens in India. Girish Johar, a producer of movies and a market expert, said that despite the “huge excitement” around the film, it will only be released in 2K. “Hollywood films do not release in every sort of projection system,” continued Akshaye Rathi.
