Salman Khan: The long-time bachelor actor was reportedly going to get married to Sangeeta Bijlani. Everything was going fine until one unfortunate event happened. Salman Khan’s ex-romantic interest Somy Ali exposed the real reason behind the acclaimed actor and Sangeeta Bijlani’s wedding cancellation.

Somy Ali is a Pakistani actress who is known for her films ‘Yaar Gaddar,’ ‘Andolan,’ etc. She is also known to be romantically engaged with the star actor Salman Khan previously. In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Somy opened up about the wedding cancellation of Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani. Apparently, the two actors were already engaged and were on the road to getting married.

According to Somy’s testimony, the couple’s wedding got called off because Sangeeta caught Salman in Somy’s apartment red-handed. Somy said, “jo maine Sangeeta ke saath kiya, wohi mere saath hua, toh isko kehte hain karma (what I did to Sangeeta, the same happened to me, so this is what we call karma).” Apart from this, Somy also revealed the abusive character of Salman Khan. She said, “Salman mujhe kehte thay ki mai paros ki ladki ko kyu nahi maarta hu, mai tumhe isliye maarta hu kyunki mai tumhe pyaar karta hu (Salman used to say to me that why don’t I hit the neighbour girl, I hit you because I love you).”

Somy also revealed in the interview about her relationship with the star actor. She said that she came all the way to India because she had a huge crush on Salman. She wanted to marry the actor. However, as their relationship progressed, she learned about the abusive nature of Salman. Today, Somy is a victor and not a victim of domestic violence anymore. She also runs an NGO in the USA that goes by the name ‘No More Tears’ and it aims to fight against domestic violence and human trafficking.
