About ‘Adipurush’

Despite the significant investment, the film’s box office performance fell short of expectations. This marked the third major commercial disappointment in Prabhas’ career, following “Saaho” and “Radhe Shyam.”

Adipurush” stirred controversy upon release due to its portrayal of the epic Ramayana and its dialogues. The producers had to revise certain lines in response to the backlash. The film received mixed reviews from critics, and despite its scale and anticipation, it faced challenges at the box office. However, Prabhas’ fans appreciated his performance as Lord Raghava.
