Alia Bhatt took a much-needed vacation from motherhood on Monday to pay a visit to her sister Shaheen Bhatt and mother Soni Razdan. Shaheen celebrates her birthday on Monday, and it appears that the party was held at Soni’s house.

Alia was papped in her car. She dressed in black, pulled her hair back, and wore huge gold hoops in her earrings. This was Alia’s first outing alone post welcoming her daughter Raha with husband Ranbir Kapoor on November 6. Watch this video:

Alia wishes sister Shaheen Bhatt with unseen pics
Earlier in the day, she had wished Shaheen with a special post on her Instagram space. She shared two unseen photos of them from her wedding album and captioned the post, “Happy birthday to the BEST person ever .. my sweetie .. my little melon smiggle pop I love you so much that no amount of cute – mushy – sweet sounding words will ever be enough Okay bye calling you in one hour.” Shaheen and Alia are the daughters of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actor Soni Razdan.
Alia reveals her daughter’s name
Revealing her name Alia wrote in an Instagram post, “The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meanings…Raha, in its purest form means divine path in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her – we felt it ALL! Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just begun.”
