Sara Ali Khan: The beautiful young actress has proven once and for all that she is not only about good looks but also about intellect. Not too long ago, the star took to her Instagram Story to show off the various books from her collection. However, there was something in the update that spiked an uninvited controversy revolving around BFFs Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Sara Ali Khan shows off the books she is currently reading

In a recent Instagram Story update, the renowned actress Sara Ali Khan posted a picture containing various books from her shelf. The picture had a text on top of it that read, “Currently Reading.” There were 8 books in total in the picture that ranged from emotional and philosophical to historical genres. Some of the titles she was reading are bestsellers like Elif Shafak’s ‘The Forty Rules of Love’ and Daniel Kahneman’s ‘Thinking, Fast and Slow.’ The other books that Sara displayed in her IG Story were, ‘The Price of Civilization’ by Jeffrey Sachs, ‘The Power of Your Subconscious Mind’ by Dr. Joseph Murphy, ‘India Since Independence,’ ‘Shiva Sutras’ by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, ‘I am Gita’ by Deep Trivedi, ‘Auschwitz: A History’ by Sybille Steinbacher.

Netizens suspect possible jibe at Janhvi Kapoor

Out of all the books Sara displayed, one in particular spiked a sort of controversy. The last book in the bottom right corner ‘Auschwitz: A History’ by Sybille Steinbacher, details the dreaded historical events revolving around the infamous Holocaust. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor starred in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhavan. The film was accused of trivialising Holocaust and generalising passing references to Adolf Hitler. The mention of Auschwitz in Sara’s IG Story made the netizens believe she was pointing toward Janhvi Kapoor. Sara had even placed a text just below Steinbacher’s book that read ‘READ MORE BOOKS,’ making things look more suspicious.
