Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway: A still from Rani Mukerji’s upcoming movie Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway has been finally released that shows her wearing a cotton saree and a cardigan. The movie will premiere in the theatres on 3rd March, 2023.
Rani Mukerji’s newest movie, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway, has released the first image of the actress. It is based on the actual account of an Indian couple whose children were taken from them by Norwegian social services in 2011.
In the photograph, Rani is shown without makeup wearing a pink and white cotton sari with her hair in a straightforward braid. She is also seen donning sindoor on her forehead, a black cardigan, and the customary red and white bangles used by Bengali women. She has some papers and a soft teddy bear toy in her hand, and she appears a little lost.

Taran Adarsh shared the first picture of the film and wrote the caption on Twitter, “Rani Mukerji: Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ release date confirmed … Inspired by the true story of a mother who shook an entire nation with her courage and willpower to win back her children… #MrsChatterjeeVsNorway – starring #RaniMukerji – to release in cinemas on 3 March 2023.”
Ashima Chibber is the film’s director, and Rahul Handa and Sameer Satija are its writers. Under the banner of their company Emmay Entertainment, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani, along with Zee Studios.
Rani talks about her journey in Cinema
Soon after, on March 21, Rani will also publish her autobiography. As per reports, Rani said, “In the 25 years that I have so lovingly spent in the Indian film industry, I have never spoken my heart out about my life and my journey in cinema. As women in cinema, we are constantly judged and the book delves into my personal trials and tribulations and the impact it had on me, as I navigated the industry and my career. I haven’t had the time to pause, look back on my life, retrospectively and introspectively. This memoir was my way of reminiscing what I have been through right from my childhood.”

Further she added, “This one’s for my fans and for every single person who has given me boundless love and kept me grounded. I look forward to their reactions when this book releases on my birthday next year, making the day even more special.”
In the 2021 film Bunty Aur Babli 2, Rani last appeared alongside Saif Ali Khan. She is occasionally spotted up at movie events and gatherings.
