Alia Bhatt: Actor Alia Bhatt who has proved her mettle as a producer and entrepreneur has been named the first Indian global brand ambassador for Gucci. This took place post her Met Gala 2023 debut. Gucci on instagram announced her as their first Indian Global Ambassador today. Alia will make her debut appearance as the brand’s latest global ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show, to be staged in Seoul next week. It will take place at the city’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. The show will mark the fashion house’s 25 years in the country.

All about Alia Bhatt’s Met Gala 2023 Debut
Alia made her first appearance at the Met Gala in 2023, wearing an ivory ensemble that had pearls added to it. In an elegant gown designed by Prabal Gurung, she gave the princess’s spirits a big boost. Her fashion inspiration was a 1992 Chanel bridal gown of supermodel Claudia Schiffer. She wore a matching pair of gloves and earrings to finish her look. Alia’s hair was slicked back with a middle parting.
“Met Gala – Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty… I have always been fascinated by the iconic Chanel brides. Season after season, the genius of Karl Lagerfeld shone through in the most innovative and awe-inspiring couture. My look tonight was inspired from this and in particular by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look.. I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with a 100,000 pearls is a labour of love by @prabalgurung. I’m so proud to wear you for my first Met,” she shared about the details of the dress.

Alia’s upcoming endeavours
Alia will be seen next along with Ranveer Singh in Karan Johar’s upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ after her appearance in Brahmastra. Apart from this, she will also make her hollywood debut with the spy thriller ‘Heart of Stone’, starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the lead roles.
