Filmfare Awards 2023: Bollywood’s most prestigious award Filmfare took place last night at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC in Mumbai. Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Nora Fatehi, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and several others from the film industry graced the award show with their presence. Some of them also posed for the paparazzi while flaunting their style on the red carpet.

For the first time in the history of Filmfare, Salman Khan was seen hosting the event. He hosted the event along with Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul.

Tremendous dance performances by Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Jacqueline Fernandez were the major attractions of the event.

Star of the evening ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’
Some stars took ‘The Black Lady’ with them. ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actor Alia Bhatt is at the forefront of this list. This year the maximum award of Filmfare was given to ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The film not only won the hearts of the audience but also won the maximum number of awards. Along with ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Badhaai Do’ was the major pick of the night in the critics category.
Apart from this, Film Brahmastra won the ‘Best Music Album award’, while Amitabh Bhattacharya was awarded the ‘Best Lyrics Award’ for the most popular song ‘Kesariya’ from the same film.
