Anushka Sharma: Anushka Sharma has finished shooting for Chakda Xpress, her upcoming flick. Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Sharma’s production company, Clean Slate Filmz, and Prosit Roy are directing the Netflix movie, which she will feature in and as cricketer Jhulan Goswami. As they celebrated the completion of the filming, Anushka was joined by Jhulan, Karnesh, and Prosit. The movie could release on Netflix the following year.

Anushka Sharma shared pictures on her Instagram account while cutting the cake and wrote the caption, “It’s a wrap on Chakda ‘Xpress and thank you @JhulanGoswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot!” with blue heart, clapboard and cricket bat emojis.
The actor posted several images from the final day of filming, when the cast and crew were in a cricket stadium. Jhulan, Prosit, and Anushka are seen cutting a cake designed especially for the event in the first image. The cake includes the name of the movie and Jhulan’s jersey number 25. The fact that the movie was filmed over the course of 65 days in seven schedules across six different locations.
In a different picture, Anushka, dressed as Team India member, can be seen hugging director Prosit as the cast and crew applaud. Jhulan is holding the film’s final clapboard, which reads, “It’s a wrap.” In another image, Jhulan is seen laying Anushka down in a truck and holding the same board with the words “day 65” scrawled on it over her. In a playful exchange with Anushka, who is also holding the clapboard, Prosit and Karnesh can be seen too. As soon as they heard the news, fans praised the actor and expressed their excitement about seeing her in more movies.

With Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, Anushka most recently appeared in the Aanand L. Rai flick Zero (2018). She also recently had a cameo in Anvita Dutt’s Qala, which is also produced by Karnesh, and during the last four years, she produced the 2020 Netflix movie Bulbbul.
